Virtual character designed in 3 dimensions,
Doctoon is the guide to the 21st century hospital.
He appears on the internal TV networks of paediatrics department of a hospital,
and is animated in real time by a psychologist in constant contact with
the medical team.
Doctoon is not a doctor,
or a nurse, and does not provide any treatment. He gives advice to children
who want it during their stay in hospital. He reassures and consoles them,
and plays with them… Doctoon
is their confidant.
This experiment, the only one of its kind in the world, uses the most recent
interactive animation techniques. |
